Offline-first diary for iOS and Android

Glytrio

A calm diabetes diary for logging glucose, food, insulin, medication, activity and wellbeing, then turning everyday records into a clear doctor report.

No required account, no ads and no default cloud. Core access is free in Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia and Belarus; other countries move to a paid model later.

Why core is free in 5 markets

Essential self-tracking should not depend on store payments

Because App Store and Google Play payments and availability are restricted in Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia and Belarus, Glytrio keeps core features free there: diary, glucose, insulin, food, medication, reminders, analytics, PDF/CSV and backup. These are everyday health self-tracking tools, not entertainment premium features.

The international paid model will be enabled separately through store billing and does not change free access in those countries.

Feature set

What is already in the product

This list is based on the PRD, feature wiki and Flutter code: Diary/Food/Analytics/Reminders/Profile tabs, Drift storage, reports and backup.

Daily log

A factual diary, not a medical adviser

The daily timeline supports glucose, insulin, food, medication, activity, wellbeing, weight, ketones, hypo events and notes.

  • daily summary
  • glucose range bar
  • soft delete with undo

Food/XE

Food, carbs and bread units

The food tab includes 85 generic RU products, carbs per 100 g, GI, favorites, recent items, custom products and saved meal templates.

  • product search
  • custom foods
  • saved meals

Analytics

Trends without clinical judgement

Analytics covers day, week, month and 90 days: average glucose, min/max/count, SD/CV, hypo/hyper levels and after-meal observations.

  • below/in/above range
  • 90-day doctor mode
  • meal-to-glucose links

Reports

PDF/CSV for appointments

Reports combine diary entries, glucose, food, insulin, clinical facts, glucose charts and a 90-day preset for a doctor visit.

  • PDF chart
  • CSV export
  • no web portal required

Offline

Local on the device

The MVP does not require a backend. Data stays in SQLite/Drift, backup is user-initiated and encrypted exports verify integrity.

  • no account
  • optional AES-GCM
  • integrity check

Profile

Profile and clinical facts

Profile stores language, units, target range, XE settings, therapy type, HbA1c, blood pressure, lipids, kidney labs and annual exams.

  • app lock
  • personalization
  • doctor-report facts

Jobs to be done

JTBD: when Glytrio helps

These scenarios start with the user task, not with a menu of screens.

01

When a reading needs to be logged in seconds

Open, enter glucose, save

Fast entry uses a large keypad, contexts such as fasting / after meal / bedtime and the user’s preferred units.
02

When food and glucose need context

Link a meal to a later glucose reading

Glytrio stores meal-to-glucose links and later shows neutral observations without causal or treatment advice.
03

When a doctor appointment is coming

Build a 7, 30 or 90 day report

PDF/CSV exports glucose, food, insulin, reminders, weight and clinical facts in a format that is easy to bring to a visit.
04

When a parent keeps the diary

See the child’s day without account friction

One local profile on the device, quick records and a readable daily history without mandatory registration.
05

When labs and related facts matter

Keep HbA1c, BP, lipids and kidney labs near the diary

Low-frequency clinical facts live in Profile and flow into the doctor report as records, without color judgement or diagnosis.

Medical boundary

Glytrio is a diary, not a doctor

The app helps people record and review history. It does not replace a clinician, diagnose conditions or manage therapy.

  • does not calculate or recommend insulin doses
  • does not tell the user how much insulin to inject
  • does not control pumps and is not CGM
  • does not diagnose or predict medical outcomes
